Authentic vintage Estée Lauder Golden Shell Compact, acollectible shell-form face-powder compact issued in 1988.
The gold-tone metal case is molded in a dramatic radiatingseashell/fan design. It opens to a matching shell-form interior mirror surroundand contains the original pressed face powder and round powder puff.
The original underside label identifies the piece as: ESTÉELAUDER / Golden Shell Compact / Moisture-Balanced Translucent Face Powder /Ecru-01 / NET WT. .22 OZ. The interior is also marked ESTÉE LAUDER and MADE INHONG KONG.
Pre-owned vintage condition. The compact shows visiblesurface scratching, scuffing and general cosmetic wear from age and use. Theoriginal powder is present and appears to have been used. The powder puff isincluded and shows use/age. The mirror/interior also shows age-related surfacewear. The original underside paper label remains present and readable.
