Beautiful and hard-to-find matching pair of vintage Jean Oates “The Plantation” table lamps from 1996.These tall column-style wooden lamps feature Jean Oates’ whimsical American folk-art design with hand-painted trees surrounded by colorful birdhouses, tiny homes and greenery. The warm ivory/cream background has subtle distressed detailing and a delicate diamond pattern, with brass-tone lamp hardware and coordinating finials.The artwork wraps around the bases, so these are beautiful from multiple angles.Both lamps retain their original labels reading “Handpainted Originals by Jean Oates – The Plantation – © 1996.”They are in excellent vintage condition, especially considering they are approximately 30 years old. The painted bases are exceptionally clean with no major scratches, chips or damage that I can see.
