Vintage 1997 Union Products Lighted Skeleton Blow Mold: Top Hat, Black Cape and R.I.P. Tombstone, Don Featherstone Signed Mold

Up for sale is a vintage Union Products Halloween blow mold from an estate sale. It shows a grinning skeleton in a black top hat and a black cape with an orange lining, tipping his hat and posing with one hand on his hip. The back of the mold has a sculpted R.I.P. tombstone, so it looks cool from both sides. It glows when lit (see the night photo).

Item Details:

• Molded marking on the bottom: \"© 1997 Union Products Inc., Leominster, MA 01453, Cat. No. 5610\"
• Don Featherstone signature molded into the rear (see close-up). Union Products was the original maker of the pink flamingo, and Featherstone was its designer
• Includes a new aftermarket C7 LED light and cord
• Weight-with-sand fill cap on the bottom (currently empty)
• Approximately 36\" tall

Condition:

• No cracks or breaks in the plastic
• Paint scuffs and scratches along the sides, with areas of black paint worn off
• A long scratched line runs down one side where the black paint was rubbed off, as if it had been leaning against something (see photo)
• Paint wear on the top hat
• Light yellowish staining on the edge of the tombstone and some dark marks on the bottom
• Some dust/dirt from past display
• Overall great vintage condition for a blow mold that was clearly displayed and enjoyed
