Description
Add rich Old World character to a bookshelf, office, or home library with this matching pair of vintage CBK decorative bookends from 1999.
The bookends feature deeply dimensional acanthus leaf and floral ornamentation with decorative beaded borders and an architectural form inspired by Baroque and Renaissance Revival design.
The finish is especially interesting and varies depending on the lighting. The predominant color is a deep antiqued brown with bronze and reddish-copper tones, while bright natural light can reveal subtle blue to blue-gray undertones. Photos were taken in different lighting conditions to help accurately show the variations in the finish.
These work beautifully with Old World European, dark academia, Gothic, traditional library, castlecore, and moody maximalist décor.
