Vintage 2-Gallon Blue Stripe Stoneware Water Cooler / Beverage Dispenser with Lid & Spigot
Wonderful vintage stoneware beverage crock featuring classic cobalt blue stripes and a hand-painted “2” gallon capacity marking. Includes the matching stoneware lid and metal dispensing spigot.
The crock has been water tested for approximately 24 hours and held water with no observed leaks. The spigot is functional.
This is an older piece with plenty of authentic character, including glaze crazing, discoloration, small surface marks, firing imperfections, and general age-related wear.
Condition notes: The lid has chips and hairline cracking along the outer rim, as shown clearly in the photos. There is also age-related crazing and staining/discoloration, particularly on the interior. Please review all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.
The main crock displays very nicely with attractive blue striping and would make a great addition to a primitive, farmhouse, country kitchen, stoneware, or antique crock collection.
Included:
* 2-gallon stoneware crock/dispenser
* Stoneware lid
* Metal spigot
Water tested for 24 hours — no leaks observed.
Because of its age and vintage condition, I would still sell it primarily as a collectible/decorative piece rather than make any promises regarding modern food-safety standards.
