This authentic vintage 2002 Sicilian ceramic Trinacria wall plaque is a beautiful piece of Italian craftsmanship, hand-painted and hand-signed in the historic hilltop town of Taormina, Sicily. The 5.5-inch glazed terracotta plate showcases the iconic three-legged mythological symbol of the island in striking yellow, accented by a high-relief central Medusa head over a rich, textured verdigris green background. The back is beautifully personalized by the artisan with hand-etched script reading "Sicily Symbol," "Taormina," and the production date "7/02" (July 2002), along with a distinct black painted signature by the artist, Vinci. It is in excellent vintage condition with a glossy finish; please note that the faint line on the lower-left leg is a studio molding seam from its original handmade assembly, not a crack.
