Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible AT&T \"Noteworthy\" Message Center. Produced by Western Electric/Bell System during the early 80s, this retro piece features an integrated battery-operated wall clock, a clean corkboard surface for pinning notes, and a hidden cradle for its standard Trimline push-button landline phone.Condition Details:
Clock Mechanism: Fully tested and working perfectly! Keeps accurate time with a crisp, clear ticking motion. (Requires 1 AA battery, not included).
Handset & Keypad: This is the convenient Touch-Tone push-button version. All buttons have been individually pressed and checked—zero sticking, smooth action, and 100% responsive.
Cosmetics: The corkboard facade is exceptionally clean, showing almost no deep pin-holes, chunks, or crumbling edges. The cream/off-white plastic casing displays excellent color integrity with minimal vintage yellowing or heavy scuff marks.
Cord: The matching cream coiled telephone cord shows typical light vintage stretching but is completely intact with no dry-rotting.
Authenticity & Markings: This unit includes all of its original factory stickers intact on the bottom panel. Features the classic metallic blue Western Electric identification sticker (Serial No. M1752700) alongside the original AT&T service sticker. The factory date code stamp (04218) confirms an exact production date of April 21, 1981, making this a true pre-divestiture piece of Bell System history.
