Up for sale is a beautiful, complete 18-piece Chinese studio celadon tea service. Originally purchased by my mother in the 1990s. This vintage set is crafted in an organic, deeply ribbed pumpkin motif. It features a thick, jade-green glaze showcasing a uniform crackle pattern characteristic of premium celadon art ware.
Artisan Authentication: The teapot base and the individual tea cups feature matching, hand-painted calligraphy signatures reading “黄牛” (Huang Niu / Yellow Ox). This consistent marking across the pieces denotes a boutique ceramic studio production, guaranteeing this is a cohesive, verified set.
Premium 3-Piece Individual Infusion Cups: Each cup in this service features a premium 3-piece nested configuration. They contain a main cup body, a matching removable ceramic strainer insert for loose-leaf brewing, and a fitted lid. This allows guests to brew and strain premium loose tea leaves directly inside their own cups.
