A decorative matching set of three vintage Chinese Tang-style kneeling maid figurines, accompanied by their original vintage explanatory paper insert.
Each seated/kneeling female figure is modeled in Tang-inspired court dress with a high coiffed hairstyle and serene expression. The figures feature green and amber/brown glazed garments contrasted against matte cream-colored faces, arms and bases.
The original paper insert identifies the subject as:
“Re-Creation of Chinese Tomb Figurine: Kneeling Maids, T’ang Dynasty (618–906 A.D.)”
These are vintage decorative re-creations inspired by Tang Dynasty tomb figures and are not being represented as ancient Tang Dynasty antiquities.

PROVENANCE
From my family’s multi-generational design collection. These belonged to my grandmother, who operated a design store in Montgomery, Alabama during the mid-20th century, and were subsequently preserved in my mother’s collection.
The survival of the original explanatory insert with the set is an especially nice addition and helps document how these figures were originally presented and described.
PACKING & SHIPPING
All three figures will be individually wrapped and carefully cushioned for shipment. The original paper insert will be protected separately to prevent additional creasing or damage in transit.
