vintage 1-pound lithographed Colonial Coffee tin produced by the Thomas Coffee Co. of York, Pennsylvania. Featuring excellent crossroads / general store advertising appeal, this early 20th-century tin showcases the iconic Revolutionary War colonial soldier graphic prominently on both sides.
Condition Details (Graded C-8 / Very Good):
This tin has been carefully inspected and is in exceptional, display-ready condition:
• Graphics & Lithography: The colors remain remarkably vibrant and bold. The black background retains a nice sheen, and the fine print detailing the "Colonial Best Blend" on the reverse side is crisp and entirely legible.
• Lid: Comes complete with its rare, original gold-toned slip-on metal lid cleanly embossed with "STEEL CUT". The lid shows authentic age-related surface oxidation/speckling but fits perfectly and is structurally sound.
• Body/Wear: Minor, expected shelf wear and light vertical scratching near the seams as pictured. The white backgrounds behind the soldier graphics are exceptionally clean with no major staining. No major dents.
