Vintage GE Clock Radio Model C-482B Powers On, Clock Works For Sale

Fresh from a local estate that had hundreds of radios, this is a vintage GE Model C-482B alarm Clock radio that is a great candidate for restoration.  The radio powers on, but it only hums, so it will need to be restored electronically.  Fortunately all of the tubes tested good on my Eico Model 625 Tube Tester, so that can be eliminated from the restoration process.  The clock functions and the knobs move properly and smoothly, but the dial indicator barely moves below the number 7 on the dial.  It will need some adjusting to get it functioning like new.  The plastic body is in good condition with no chips or cracks.   There are some minor scuffs and scrapes, consistent with age and use,  but they do not detract from the overall appearance of the radio.  The original power cord is in excellent condition, still flexible.  In order to ensure safe delivery the radio will be double boxed.  Do not hesitate to make an offer all will be considered.
