Up for sale is a stunning, highly detailed vintage hand-carved wooden desk organizer caddy. This unique piece features an intricate, wrapping high-relief carving of mermaids swimming through tropical waves, flanked by palm trees and lush foliage. The upswept handles on either end mimic stylized waves/sea creatures, giving it a classic dragon-boat or long-vessel silhouette. • Dual Compartments: Features two separate storage sections, perfect for organizing letters, pens, jewelry, or stationary.
• Removable Lids: Comes with two beautifully carved matching wood lids adorned with tropical palm frond relief patterns.
• Felt-Lined Interior: The inside compartments are lined with classic vintage green felt to protect your fountain pens or delicate personal items from scratching.
• Finish: Finished in a rich, dark ebonized/black lacquer style that highlights the depth of the artisan hand-carving.
