Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Japanese black lacquer trinket or jewelry box. The lid features a striking hand-painted or stenciled traditional landscape scene depicting a snow-capped Mount Fuji, a multi-tiered pagoda, golden cherry blossoms (sakura), and flying birds against a glossy black background.
The interior is lined with its original, vibrant red velvet padding. The bottom of the box is stamped with "MADE IN JAPAN" in white lettering.
