Description
Beautiful vintage Lladró #4668 “La Maja” porcelain bust, designed by renowned Lladró sculptor Juan Huerta. This elegant Spanish porcelain piece depicts a young woman with long dark brown hair, delicate pink and cream roses beside her ear, and a detailed pendant necklace. The soft neutral coloring and glossy finish are characteristic of classic Lladró workmanship.
This model was produced during the early Lladró era and was retired in 1985, making it a desirable discontinued collectible. The underside bears the blue Lladró Handmade in Spain mark.
Overall the bust presents extremely well. Please note that one flower has a small chip to a petal. The damage is localized to the delicate floral area and is shown in the photographs. No other damage has been observed.
