Vintage Zipper-Slik Zipper Lubricant Pencils – Original Counter Display – 3/4 Full
Very cool vintage Zipper-Slik zipper lubricant pencil counter display box.
Original display was made to hold 50 Zipper-Slik pencils and this box is still approximately 3/4 full. These were used to lubricate metal zippers and advertised to “Make Old Zippers Work Like New.”
Great piece of vintage advertising and sewing/tailoring history. I have not found evidence that these are still being manufactured.
Condition: Vintage new-old-stock contents. Original cardboard display shows age, wear, creasing and some damage as pictured. Lubricant pencils appear unused.
