Up for sale is a beautiful pair of authentic vintage 1950s/1960s Mid-Century Modern toleware metal bookends. They feature a striking, vibrant \"Paint-by-Number\" style lacquer finish over a classic arched black background.
Stunning Chinoiserie Art: One bookend features a traditional Geisha with a parasol framed by blooming cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji in the background. The matching piece showcases a traditional junk ship/sailboat sailing past the iconic mountain.
Classic MCM Silhouette: Distinctive arched triptych-style design that perfectly anchors a shelf or desk setup.
