Striking vintage mid-century modern enameled copper platter. This substantial piece features a meticulously embossed floral and leaf design with highly detailed, visible veins running through the foliage. The body is formed with a dramatic, wavy ruffled pie-crust edge.
The coloration features an organic, earthy wash of olive-green, amber-gold, and rich fired-red tones. This unique finish is achieved through artisanal torch-firing or a delicate vitreous enamel wash.
The back features a built-in protective cluster of cork discs. This clever design detail creates a raised trivet base, allowing you to display this heavy art piece safely on delicate wood surfaces without risk of scratching.
• Condition: Very good vintage condition with no deep gouges or structural defects. Please examine the photos closely as they are an essential part of the condition description.
