Vintage Mid-Century Modern Cast Metal Greyhound / Whippet Figurine Pair: $130.00
Up for sale is a beautiful vintage pair of mid-century modern sighthound figurines, featuring one standing and one elegantly reclining. These pieces are made of heavy cast metal (likely cast iron or spelter alloy) with a gorgeous, naturally aged dark bronze-toned patina finish. They feature excellent stylized anatomical details, including engraved rib lines and distinctive collar accents, capturing the classic Art Deco/Hollywood Regency aesthetic. The hollow-cast undersides are typical of mid-20th-century decorative metalwork. Perfect as bookshelf accents, mantle decor, or heavy desk paperweights.Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no breaks, cracks, or repairs. Both figures are structurally sound with intact legs and tails. The undersides show expected minor surface wear/rubbing to the finish consistent with age and display, adding to their authentic vintage character. Please see photos for detailed views of the condition and measurements.Approximate Measurements: • Standing Dog: 5.5\" Tall x 5.25\" Long • Reclining Dog: 4.25\" Tall x 7.75\" Long
