This vintage 1974 Native American Hopi pottery bowl, measuring 5.5 inches in diameter and just over 3\" high, was crafted by artist Juanita Healing from the Southwest. The handmade piece is a beautiful representation of Hopi culture and craftsmanship, originating from a local collector\'s estate in the United States. With its traditional design and unique provenance, this bowl is a valuable and collectible item that showcases the artistry and heritage of Native American tribes in the US. Vintage hand-built Hopi polychrome pottery bowl by noted Hopi potter Juanita Healing (1916–2006). The underside is hand-signed “Juanita Healing,” providing direct artist attribution. Healing was a Hopi potter from Sichomovi at First Mesa and the sister of potter Patricia Honie. She married Dewey Healing, the son of Annie Healing Nampeyo and grandson of celebrated Hopi-Tewa potter Nampeyo. Adobe Gallery describes Healing as an exceptional artisan in both vessel construction and decoration. The Smithsonian\'s National Museum of the AmericanIndian also documents Juanita Healing as a Hopi Pueblo artist, including her work acquired by the Indian Arts and Crafts Board in 1977
