Vintage Pair Chinoiserie Ceramic Parrot Figurines, Cream Crackle Glaze, 8.5 In For Sale

Two mirrored ceramic parrots, each perched on a flowering tree stump, finished in a cream crackle glaze.

This is a matched pair of parrots that face each other, so they can sit on either side of a mantel, a bookshelf or a centerpiece. Each bird has a detailed feathered body and a long tail, and sits on a textured stump with applied flowers at the base. The cream glaze has an all-over crackle pattern. They suit Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, Palm Beach and traditional interiors.

Used condition. One bird has a repaired break across the tail. The break has been glued, and the line and a little residue are visible in the close-up photos. The other bird has no repair.

The crackle pattern is part of the glaze. There is light brown toning along the crackle lines and in the crevices of the stumps and feathers. Please review all photos, which are part of the description.

Ships from Raleigh, NC. I wrap each bird separately with plenty of padding.
