Drillers Service, Inc. (DSI) was founded in 1954 by H. Jack Faw, Sr. in Hickory, North Carolina. Drawing on generations of family experience in water well drilling and pump installation, Jack Faw opened the very first DSI branch with a tiny crew of just five employees. Operating out of its original Hickory location, the family-owned business expanded aggressively through the late 1960s and beyond, growing into one of the premier wholesale distributors for the professional groundwater, water well, and wastewater management industries across the Southeastern United States.
