Very nice restored WADE & BUTCHER - AMERICAN RAZOR - straight razor. Razor has been cleaned, polished, new bevel set, honed and waxed and is shave ready. Blade is nice, but does have some remaining patina and spotting on both sides of blade. See pics for more details. Moderate hone wear. I used two pieces of tape on spine when honing. Blade width at widest point measures just under 13/16ths.Razor length is 6 1/4th inches.Grind is approximately a 1/4 hollow. Beefy blade.No jimps on shank Front of shank is stamped WADE & BUTCHER - SHEFFIELD. Back side is blank. Front side of blade its etched - AMERICAN RAZOR. Scales are brand new custom made RED GLITTER KIRINITE. Wedge is gold glitter Kirinite. Pins are reproduction brass bullseyes. Scales were hand made by myself. They look even better in person. Pins are tight and blade closes fine.Blade is shave ready. Very nice shaver. Finished on a vintage Thuringian hone with two layers of tape on spine.
