The Cordoba baseball team photo depicts two rows of the entire team, with writing that reads, "Novena de beisbol Córdoba que triunfó en Estados Unidos (The Córdoba baseball team that triumphed in the United States), H. Cordoba, Ver. Abril 24 de 1938, Chagollon Toto(?)." The next portrait depicts Baldomero "Mel" Almada (1913-1988), who made history being the first Mexican baseball player to play in the major leagues. He's wearing his Boston Red Sox's uniform, where he played from 1933-1937. He also played with the Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns and the Brooklyn Dodgers. The next portrait depicts Leonardo "Leo Najo" Alanís (1899-1978) in the baseball field wearing his Tyler Trojans uniform and baseball mitt on his left hand. He was one of the first Mexican-born players to play professional baseball in the United States, starting in the minor leagues with the San Antonio Bears in 1924, being lent to the Tyler Trojans, and moving up to the major leagues with the Chicago White Sox a year later. The press photo depicts Bob Avila of the Cleveland Indians receiving a trophy, from the Governor of Mexico City, at the Mexican Embassy with Al Lopez, Mike Garcia and Mexican Ambassador Don Rafael de la Colina pictured.
