This is an authentic original Soviet Armenian SSR (USSR) flag manufactured around 1978 by the Moscow Production Association \"Khudozhestvennaya Rospis\". Made of lightweight yet durable synthetic capron (Soviet nylon) under state standard GOST 19690-74, this flag features a red field divided horizontally by a bold blue stripe across the center, topped with the golden hammer, sickle, and red star emblem in the upper hoist. This particular piece displays an authentic factory printing defect from the original Soviet manufacturing line — uneven, faded blue dye coverage along parts of the central stripe. While the paper tag is missing, the synthetic capron fabric has kept its structural integrity perfectly over decades of storage with no moth holes or tears.
