Beautiful vintage Zuni sterling silver and turquoise necklace featuring an elaborate handmade leaf/branch design set with numerous small natural turquoise cabochons.
The necklace is constructed from multiple articulated silver sections, each shaped like a graceful leafy branch. Individual teardrop-shaped turquoise stones are hand-set in traditional serrated bezels along the branches, with rounded silver drops accenting the tips. The turquoise displays wonderful natural variation from vivid blue to blue-green and green, with areas of brown matrix and character that give the necklace a distinctly vintage appearance.
The linked construction allows the necklace to drape beautifully around the neckline, while the handmade silver chain finishes with a traditional hook-and-eye closure.
