This listing is for a rare, 1960's -1970's era pocket screwdriver keychain, promoting the General electric plant in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This plant is no longer in operation.
The steel flat style screwdriver measures roughly 2 1/8" long x 3/4" at its widest point. The blade is roughly 1/4" across. There is a 4 1/2" steel ball chain attached to hold keys.
The piece is in excellent, CLEAN condition and has never been used. It has been well stored for many years and is free of soiling, corrosion, etc. The first and last letters in the "Bridgeport" stamping are faint, as shown and there may be minor surface blemishes, which were all caused by the manufacturing process. There is no finish flaking, etc.
We unearthed several of these recently and all are in comparable condition. Nice and CLEAN and free of any significant issues!
