Vtg Antique Valentine Card Lot (4) Mechanical Pop-Up 1920s-1950s Germany:
$24.99

Up for sale is a charming, curated lot of four (4) genuine antique and vintage Valentine's Day greeting cards. This collection features beautiful lithographed imagery, clever puns, and highly collectible 3D mechanical folding and pop-up movements spanning the early to mid-20th century.

Included in this Lot:

Antique German Mechanical Sofa Card (circa 1920s-1930s):

Features a sweet young girl on a green tufted sofa. Pushing the integrated paper level slides up a hidden boy holding a bouquet of flowers over her head.

Marked "Printed in Germany".

Vintage pencil inscription on the reverse reads: "To Helen Jane From Lee".

Vintage A-MERI-CARD Pop-Up Window Card (circa 1940s):

A fold-out booklet style design with a scalloped heart outer frame. The center window reveals a miniature portrait painting inside.

Stamped A-MERI-CARD P-146 on the back.

Cursive ink inscription reads: "Eugene from Mary Ellen".

Vintage A-MERI-CARD Mechanical Guitar Card (circa 1940s):

Features a boy playing a guitar and a puppy with a bold 3D fold-out pop-up mechanism featuring a blonde girl holding a heart.

Stamped A-MERI-CARD 228 on the back.

Signed in ink: "Miss Mulligan".

Vintage "Ace-High" Mechanical Stand-Up Card (circa 1940s-1950s):

An unused/unsigned card featuring a girl holding a playing card with the quote:

"You're as cute as the deuce - And you're ACE-high with ME!".

Features an uncut, fully intact pop-out easel backing stand on the reverse.

Marked U.S.A. and IV 8190C.

Condition Notes:

All four cards feature bright, vibrant graphics with completely functional mechanical parts and movements.

The German sofa card has a small, light structural crease/tear near the bottom left platform edge, consistent with age and mechanical use.

The two 1950s A-MERI-CARD items feature dark black paper and glue remnants on their reverse sides from historically being mounted inside a childhood holiday scrapbook. There are no holes; the paper fibers are simply attached to the back.

The "Ace-High" card remains unsigned but shows light, natural foxing on its reverse right edge.

Please review all pictures carefully to judge details, signatures, and conditions for yourself before purchase.
