Vintage Ardalt Occupied Japan Humpty Dumpty two-piece ceramic shaker set, model 6343, dating to the post-WWII Occupied Japan period.

This wonderfully unusual piece stands approximately 6 inches tall when assembled and is designed as a nesting two-piece set. The removable Humpty Dumpty head forms one shaker, while the lower body/base forms the second. Both pieces retain their original-style wooden/cork stoppers.

The figure has a whimsical anthropomorphic Humpty Dumpty design with a smiling face, bright pink ruffled hat with blue band, molded blond hair, green shorts and suspenders, red shoes, and hand-painted facial details.

Condition:

Beautiful vintage condition with bright, attractive hand-painted colors and glossy glaze. No chips or cracks. There is light age-related crazing visible beneath the glaze, consistent with ceramics from this period.

Both sections retain their wooden/cork stoppers, making this a particularly nice complete example.
