This is an authentic piece of military aviation history belonging to Captain Winthrop Robinson, who served as a Navigator aboard the legendary aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga (CVA-14 / CVS-14) during the Vietnam War era. The custom reflective stenciling taped on the front brow reads:
