It is marked, Cream Top, and also with 2 patent dates. One is September 2nd, 1924 and the other is March 3rd, 1925. One date was for the patent on the milk bottle and the other for the spoon. It helped in the removal of the cream that would rise to the top of a bottle of milk.They were typically made from silver‑plated brass, nickel‑silver, or similar moisture‑resistant metal.
