Up for sale is a high-quality reproduction World War I Imperial German M1907/10 Feldrock (Field Tunic) manufactured by the highly regarded Russian maker Voenspec. This early-war style tunic includes a custom set of shoulder straps crafted by renowned uniform maker Bernd Fehrle (Bekleidungsamt XIII), making it an exceptional piece for WWI reenactors or living historians.
Condition & Features:
Exterior & Material: The tunic is constructed from heavy field-grey wool. It features the correct M1907/10 styling with a stand-and-fall collar and traditional red piping trimming the collar edge, the front closure, the rear tail skirt, and the cuffs.
Custom Shoulder Straps: The uniform includes a set of custom-made shoulder boards by Bernd Fehrle. They are made of field-grey wool, feature white outer piping, and display a beautifully chain-stitched red number \"202\" (representing Reserve-Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 202 [Berlin]). They are secured via a fabric tongue and a crown button.
Hardware & Details: The front closure features six brass-toned buttons embossed with the Prussian crown. The scalloped rear skirt features six matching crown buttons arranged along the red-piped pleats. The cuffs also feature two crown buttons each, along with a concealed grey button for adjustment.
Interior Construction: The interior is authentically lined, featuring white linen/cotton in the upper half and sleeves, and a tan twill material in the lower half. It includes an internal dressing pocket.
Suspender System: The tunic features accurate internal fabric suspender straps ending in reinforced tan leather tabs with buttonhole slits to support the external belt.
Markings & Size: The interior white lining is stamped with the Voenspec maker mark \"ЭПОЛЕТ / ВОЕНСПЕЦ\" and the European size \"52\" (which generally translates to a US men\'s size 42).
