WW2 German Sleeve Shield for Estonian Volunteer from 20th Elite Division. Orig. For Sale

This is a textbook, German factory made shield. It’s machine embroidered construction. The backing fabric is black wool cloth, a wartime style with a fairly coarse weave. The embroidery on this shield is in the Estonian national colors of black, white and blue. The embroidery is perfect, and the original colors remain bright. It shows only extremely minimal age toning, and no stains, holes, or damage. Was checked with the UV-lamp - thread does not glow. It was cut out from the sleeve of the tunic.
