The Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal was established in1896to recognize good behavior and faithful service by enlisted Marines.
This is a particularly interesting piece ofearly U.S. Marine Corps and World War I-era military historybecause the medal retains its recipient\'s name and first-enlistment dates. The number on this metal is significantly lower than most I\'ve seen.
Please examine all photographs carefully for condition, ribbon wear and surface detail. The exact medal pictured is the one you will receive.
