WWI US Army M1910 First Aid Packet Pouch JQMD 1914 Original Canvas USGI: $60.00
Front is boldly marked “U.S.” and the reverse is stamped:
J.Q.M.D. 1914
J.Q.M.D. denotes the Jeffersonville Quartermaster Depot, a major U.S. Army equipment production and supply facility.
Early khaki/olive canvas construction with original snap closure and belt attachment hardware. This is the type of pouch used to carry the individual first aid dressing packet on U.S. Army field equipment of the WWI period.
Condition is very good for an approximately 110-year-old military textile. Shows normal age, storage wear, light staining/fading, and wear to the hardware, but the canvas, stitching, U.S. marking and 1914 depot stamp remain quite presentable.
Features:
Original U.S. military issue
M1910-style first aid packet pouch
Large U.S. front marking
J.Q.M.D. 1914 rear marking
Original canvas construction
Original snap closure
Original belt attachment hardware
