WINNIE THE POOHProduction-used ORIGINAL Drawing from 1977from the"Winnie the Pooh and the Value of Things" Educational Filmstrip SeriesWalt Disney and Paul Carlson CartoonsFrom Animator Wendell Washer's Estate and Drawn by him!
With a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity
Wendell Washer was one of the amazing animators who spent his life creating the shows and features we loved as children, working for Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, Filmation, Marvel and more. We were fortunate enough to acquire a large portion of the animation material from his estate.
Wendell had a very long history working on Disney's Winnie the Pooh. Earlier in his career he worked on some of the 1970's educational film strips all the way up to Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin (1997). His work on these film strips is the earliest work we have of his, that came out of his estate. And the artwork from these filmstrips has skyrocketed in value the past few years.
This is a hand-drawn page, done in graphite. On animation paper. Measures approximately 10.5" x 12.5". Some age to page, see scan.
We will be putting up thousands of items from his estate, so stay tuned!
