"Deer Oh Deer" - Oki Modified Japanese Haori XL
These slightly modified vintage Japanese kimono jackets offer a comfy fit for larger women. This
jacket is a vibrant shade of orange with a hazy fog pattern behind
cream colored brushstrokes that we think represent running deer. In
our Oki Line (Oki means “big” in Japanese) of modified haori jackets,
we open up the gusset and underarm seams and then re-attached them using
every inch of the salvage seam edges. This yields up to an additional
6” of width in the waist and hip measurements. Compare the larger of
your hips and waist measurement to the hips/waist measurement given.
These modified Oki Haori usually fit sizes 14 to 20, with hip/waist
measurements ranging from 50”-57”. Remember, vintage haori do not cross
over or tie with a sash, like a kimono does - they are meant to be worn
open to reveal a bit of what is worn beneath.
Width: 50" Wrist to Wrist
Condition: Excellent Vintage
