This lotoffers a nice collection of twenty-one different fireworks-related boxes,labels and tubes that date to the 1950’s thru early 1990’s period. I’ve had these items in one of my displaycabinets for a few decades – all are safe to display as the items have beenused then saved with their original labeling intact (boxes have tissue paperinside to maintain shape). Included inthis collection are: a 3-1/2”x7-7/8”Cherry Cracker Kool-Aid in its’ original cello wrap – the four packages insideconnected to make a grand fireworks-themed graphic! Next is a Jumbo Hat Snakes box that measuresabout 1”x3”x5/8” deep – these were manufactured by S. Mantsuna in Taipei,Taiwan. The third item is an I.C.C.period CABLE CAR box by Standard of India.It measures approximately 1-1/4”x2”x1/2” deep. Next is a 4-1/2”x5-1/4”x1-3/8” deep box ofRed Lantern Bees & Flowers. Again,the six tubes inside the box have already been fired, saved, returned to thebox, and then I re-wrapped the box with shrinkable window film. It looks great when displayed. Next up is a LIGHTNING FLASH box thatmeasures about 2-1/2”x3-1/4”x7/8” deep.These were originally made for China Pyrotechnics Inc. of Florence,Alabama. The small Horse Brand PullingTrick Fireworks box measures about 1”x2”x3/8” deep – again – these empty boxesare stuffed with tissue to maintain their shape. Also included is a colorful PYTHON BLACKSNAKES box that measures about 1-5/8”x2-1/4”x3/8” deep and made at the FlowerBasket brand factory. Next is a FlowerBasket brand SMALL BEE box that measures about 1-7/8”x2-1/4”x7/8” deep andhaving a couple little dings. The nextbox once contained the large version of the Red Lantern brand STAR BALLCONTRIBUTION – the box being a 2-7/8” cube shape with a couple dings. The empty BOMB BAG measures about3-1/4”x3-3/4” and bears great military-themed artwork! Up next is an old Kilgore No.108 Disc MammothCaps box that measures about 1-3/8”x3-1/4”x1/2” deep. The next item is a Great Grizzly BrandCRACKLING JACKS label measuring 1-1/2”x2-5/8” and I believe it to be off a 12’scount pack. Moving on we have a 7/16”x10”long Circa-1950’s, Made In Japan 5-BALL ROMAN CANDLE tube. It was fired long ago but the tube remains inexcellent condition! Next up is aplastic rocket-shaped MOON ROCKET PARTY POPPER container that measures about1-1/8” in diameter and 2-5/8” in height.It was made by President F&F Co. in Taiwan – and I ran a new pieceof string thru the top for display! Wefollow-up with a Whale Brand SKY FLYING tube that measures 1”x4” and bears thecolorful artwork of Swallows in flight.Next is an Angel Brand HAPPINESS tube that measures about 1-1/4”x3-1/4”and a Red Lantern brand OPENING FLOWERS AND HAPPY BIRD tube measuringapproximately 1-3/4”x4-1/4”. A dandyaddition to any collection will be this BUZZ KILLER buzz-bomb winged tube thatmeasures about 7/8”x3-7/8” with colorful artwork of a bee with exposedstinger. Again – it’s been fired butremains in excellent condition for display purposes! The next item is just a 1-1/2”x2-1/2” BlackCat JUMPING BUG label that was cut askew at the factory. The final item is a 1-7/8” diameterARTIFICIAL SATELLITE aluminum/foil disc with original label stillattached. This is another I.C.C.(1960’S) period item.

There youhave it …. Twenty-one different vintage fireworks related items that will addsome class to any display case. Again,per rules – you are offerding on/buying the packaging (labels, tubes, boxes,etc.) of these objects – that’s where the collectible value lies. However, be aware that the Kool-Aid is intact- but was a limited availability item in 1991/1992 and the contents are nolonger safe to consume.
