The Herb Farm ShopThe Herb Farm was located at Sevenoaks, in Seal, Kent,it grew over 200 varieties of herbs and flowers in the English countryside.
It had a quaint little store called the Herb Farm Shop located16 North Audley Streetin London not far from Carnaby Street.
It sold perfumes, bath oil, dusting powders, talcum powders, solid perfume, soaps, sachets,pomanders, creams, makeup,culinary herbs, teas, jellies, salts, and English malt vinegars,
Members of the Royal Household were patrons.
While we were stationed in England, my mother would take us shopping in London(via the double-deck bus to train station and we would ride the tube into the city.Imagine my excitement, as a high school student, to shop on Carnaby Street 📿☮ in the 60s !
Audley St. was not far and my mother insisted we visit the Herb Farm Shop.My mother purchased the perfume with this scarf as gift.
I wore this scarf in high school along with my go-go boots and short skirts.
Well loved, the corners are frayed and there are several (I count three) small holes.
