One of the arts in which Etruscan craftsmen could match their Greek counterparts was bronze-working.  Their utensils, such as tripods, candelabras, and mirrors, are often of great quality, and attachments like handles and finials can stand as independent works of art.  This figure, made in the fourth century B.C.E., originally served as the handle of a cista, a bronze box which is characteristically Etruscan.
