Track NRA Commemorative Knife
Up for sale is aBrand New in the Box Track NRA Commemorative Knife. Comes in Wood Display Case, original shipping boxand original invoice from the NRA and Aurum dated 1978. The knife is marked "100". Not sure how many were in this production run. Is this 1 of 100, 1 of 200??
Track Knives National Rifle Association 8 3/4" drop point Hunter knife with deep, detailed etching, mint and with original display box. This is a very rare knife. This knife was made by "Track Knives" located in White Fish, Montana. The etching was done by Aurum Etching located in Garland Texas. This is a very rare commemorative knife made for the National Rifle Association. The knife is 8 3/4" long overall and it has a 4" stainless steel blade. The blade has deep and detailed etching on both sides. The front scene is a picture of a dog with mallard ducks in the background along with the verbiage "National Rifle Association". The rear blade has a scene with a man on a horse with an elk and bear. This custom knife was hand made in the early 1970's by Track Knives in White Fish, Montanna.The handle is some type of exotic hardwood and has a round NRA shield inlaid on the front. The finger guard is mirror polished nickel silver. The knife comes in a nice wood display case with blue velvet on the inside.
Below is some history on Track Knives:This knife was custom manufactured in Whitefish, Montana by Track Knives. It is a super high quality knife. The company was started by a Mr. Don Pfrimmer and possibly a Mr. Peterson, in the late 1960's and the knives were very expensive. There were many many different models, most of them truely custom. The company ceased production in the late 1970's. Mr. Peterson continued making knives, again of very high quality.
This came from a estate sale of a lawyer who never married, nor had any children of his own to pass his estate down to. I know this is new in the box because he was a collector by everything that he had acquired. Everything he had was untouched in the box. And he collected knives, firearms, coins,motorcycles and cars. He had quite an extensive collection, someof which I will be listing here and some in other places. Most of the firearms he had he purchased multiples of,2 and 3 of them, all untouched in original packaging.
Please look at the pictures as what you see is what you will receive, no more, no less. Do not expect anything that is not in the pictures.If you have any questions, please ask as you are the expert, not me.
Note: All used barrels may have minor imperfections like scratches, light spots ofcorrosion, small bumps or bruises, etc.

I always leave response first! Some sellers want you to leave response
before they do and that isn't right, in my opinion. The way I see it, is
they are scared of their product and or service. They are basically
telling you, "If you leave a negative you are getting a negative back".
You ever notice sellers like this and you so desperately want to tell
the people, "it took 5 weeks to ship", but you don't want a negative. So
what do you do, you leave a positive. Just want to clear this up that I
am not like that. You pay fast, you get response immediately.
