While we are selling this as a vintage item we were compelled to test it out of curiosity. We plugged it in and pressed the foot pedal and it came to life but the old belt started falling apart so it needs an inexpensive replacement. We noticed the the bulb from the lamp was missing and we do not have the key to the top of the cabinet to lock it in place.
