✅Vintage Japanese Noren Curtain Ukiyoe Noren 46/117cm Made In Japan
✅This is for a Vintage Very Old Japanese Geisha Noren Curtain, Door Hanging, Japanese Doorway Curtains, Ukiyoe Noren, Door Hanging, Japanese Doorway Curtains. Vintage at least the latest would be the 1960s but could be older.
✅This image features a Japanese Woman Geisha or Young Lady Blowing on a Poppin, Wearing a Kimono.
🎨Artists: Ukiyoe Furoshiki, Utamaro’s Ukiyo-e Masterpiece, “Young Woman Blowing a Poppin”. Aka Utamaro Kitagawa. I’m not 100%. But this is what I could find online about the beautiful lady and I tried to find out any info I could to pass along.
✅Measurements are approximately:
33” inches across the top where the curtain rod goes.
46” inches tall top to bottom of curtain
1 1/2” inch opening for curtain rod
🛑Condition Details: Vintage Good, these are old,1960s but could be older. There are no tears, or major stains, however my great aunt who would have been 89 years old was a good seamstress too, and had her small needle pins, pinning the curtains back for some time, so there are tiny tiny tiny little needle holes along the seam and sides, too as shown in the photos, not a huge deal but noted. The item was stored many years but before that was in an attic space before I got it, so it will have the 1960s old musty like smell. Just being honest. I’m a non smoker, pet free clean home but this is honest. It would need washed if you’re sensitive of course. I haven’t even laundered or ironed as you can tell.

✅ Backstory of the piece: This was my Great Aunt's (who sadly passed away several years ago), She was a Talented Singer, Songwriter and she sang on the USO Tour back in the 1950's Through the 1960's in a girl group. After that she lived in Nashville, TN and did get an opportunity to record and sing with her Brothers and many artists including Bill Monroe, The Osborne Brothers and more. She traveled all over the world in those years and I have many things of hers I am selling, from her time in Japan and many other countries. She would have been close to 89 years old now.
