#37 Purse Pre 1900 - 1920 Antique Octagon Dance Purse:

A pre 1900 to 1920 small octagon wristlet or dance purse. It has a metal body and hangs from a black cord with a tassel at the bottom. There are no makers mark and I don\'t know the metal content. The inside looks like a gold wash and inside the lid is scratched the number 24 in very fine numbers. If you look closely at the pictures you can see it. The outside surface has some tarnish and I have not tried to clean it.
