I sadly don’t know much about this box. It’s beautiful and it appears to be done by a local artist. There is a card inside the box, but it’s sealed. I really don’t want to open it. I know the previous owner and nothing they owned was of poor quality. I am sure this is a well made piece. It looks like it first painted black. Then it was jeweled. Lastly it was lined.
