• A full-panel ad urges motorists to "avoid all city traffic" and use the New Castle-Pennsville Ferry to cross theDelaware River where the Delaware Memorial Bridge is located today. The ferryoffered year-round, 24-hour service.
• Another panel has an ad for Coca-Cola, with a gas station attendant getting abottleof Coke out of a cooler for a traveling motorist. The slogan at the topreads: "All roads lead to the pause that refreshes."
• On the reverse side of the map there is a detailed index of cities andvillages in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, along with descriptive listings of bridges, ferries,and points of interest.
