1941 Print Cal-Aero Academy Ont. CA: $175.50
This is an original, pre-WWII panoramic class photograph from Cal-Aero Academy (Ontario, California), dated May 17, 1941 (Class 41-H).
During WWII, Cal-Aero Academy was one of the primary contract flight schools for the U.S. Army Air Corps/USAAF, training thousands of aviators right around the time of the Pearl Harbor attack. Panoramic "yard-long" class portraits from this pre-war period are highly collectible military aviation artifacts, especially with full rosters intact. Two of our uncles are in the photo. This was printed on posterboard. Small flaws from the frame can be noticed on the very edge, but the print part is perfect perfectly clean.
