1956 GEORGIApassenger license plate.Steel plate uses ajet-black base with bright white embossed lettering and rims.100% original paint, with NO touch-ups.Includes \"PEACH STATE\" nickname embossed at bottom like most GA tags of this era. HIGHLY DESIRABLE ISSUE, somewhat tougher among 1950s GA tags to find.Slightly rarer, 4-digit registration.Sold by a former GA resident, and guaranteed genuine.
Plate isSTRAIGHTand lies generallyFLAT, with nearlyNO RUST,no tears to metal, NO EXTRA HOLES, no bends, and no dents.Paint isSHARP, withstill overall NICE gloss,and metal isSOLID.Some paint chips and scratches, and rust to exposed metal and in crevices, particularly at right edge. Prone to warping because of rolled steel manufacture, natural for 1950s GA tags, particularly thicker ones from 1955 onwards. Tag can very easily be remounted on wall or other flat surface.
