Condition
Very good vintage production condition. Age toning throughout, light edge wear, minor corner creases, production tape remnants, staple holes, paste-up tabs, editorial blue-pencil and grease-pencil marks, and handling wear from newspaper production. The reverse shows typical production residue and editorial notations. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
About the Artist
Bob Gustafson (1923–1975) succeeded Russ Westover on Tillie the Toiler and drew the strip throughout the 1950s and 1960s for King Features Syndicate. Original production pages from this period are increasingly difficult to find and are sought after by collectors of American comic strip art.
