Vintage 1964-65 New York World\'s Fair souvenir plate with a raised, wood-grain look design.
- NEW YORK WORLD\'S FAIR across the top with the Unisphere at the center- Labeled scenes of the Federal Pavilion, Heliport, Swiss Sky Ride, Monorail and Electric Power & Light pavilion- Back is marked (c) 1961-1963 N.Y.W.F., UNISPHERE (R), Presented by (USS) United States Steel, and MADE IN U.S.A.- Two pierced hanging holes at the top for wall display- About 11 inches in diameter- Molded wood-look material; no maker\'s name is marked, so I have not confirmed the maker or exact material
Condition: Used. The gold paint on the raised lettering and Unisphere is chipped and worn, there is dirt in the recesses, and there are a few small green spots on the front. The back has a dark burn-like stain around one of the mounting tabs and some dark discoloration. Old wire is still threaded through the hanging holes.
