Offered is an original U.S. Air Force Tactical Pilotage Chart (TPC E-2C), compiled in January 1970 and published by the Department of Defense through the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
This impressive oversized aviation navigation chart measures approximately 58 inches when fully opened and covers a large portion of Central Europe during the height of the Cold War. The map includes West Germany, East Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, France, and Poland with remarkable detail.
Major cities and military locations shown include:
* Munich (München)
* Prague (Praha)
* Nuremberg (Nürnberg)
* Leipzig
* Ramstein
* Baumholder Army Airfield
* Numerous TACAN and VOR navigation aids
* Restricted military airspace (EDR zones)

One particularly interesting feature is the printed Cold War political notes regarding the Soviet Occupied Zone of Germany and international boundaries, making this much more than just an aviation chart—it’s an excellent historical document.

Condition
The chart remains in very good vintage condition with expected fold lines from its original issue. Light age toning, minor handling wear, and a few small pencil annotations are present from prior use. I did not note any major tears or significant damage. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description and accurately represent the item’s condition.
